If your starting your color journey or maybe you’re always lacking the basics to pull your outfit together this post is for you! More specifically this is for my Winter Season Ladies!
Before you start shopping remember that you’re looking for bright colors that have great contrast! You luckily won’t have much trouble finding your basics bright white and black are staples within your color palette! I’ve added navy here as well but once again remember it needs to be a bright navy nothing too dreary.
White
White like the snow in the winter time, stark white is a great color on you! This is not a hard color to find and you probably already own it. Remember that you’re looking for clear and bright whites nothing creamy or greyish.

Navy
Winters are known for their jewel tones and this is a great example of how your dark colors can still be bright and have a jewel undertone. Remember clear and bright, you don’t want a navy that is too dark and greyish this will not equal a jewel tone.

Black
Congratulations! You have one of the most versatile colors and you probably have this one in your closet already. It doesn’t matter how pale or dark you are black is stunning on you and its a great layering color!

Maybe you’re still hesitant to change your whole closet and start wearing the colors you’ve been told look better. Even if you don’t fully embrace your colors at least try and create a closet that makes it easy to put together an outfit every day. When I went through my closet I swear I had pieces from every different color season, I’m not sure how I wasn’t clashing everyday. Shopping within your color season takes away asking, “do these colors go together?” and makes every look effortless. Shopping within your color season might be a little difficult but that’s what i’m trying to change, and remember, don’t forget your own personal style at the door.
