These days it seems that everyone is obsessed with suntanned skin and having a golden glow but there is something really beautiful about having gorgeous cool-toned skin! The Summer palette has beautiful muted colors that make each of your looks more romantic. When you think of chic these are the colors you think of! With every season i’d really advise not making rash conclusions about your color season, you might be looking at the palette thinking it looks too girly or delicate. Don’t put your color season in a box, Summer’s has some of the most sultry and sexy colors in my opinion. Your colors will not take away from your personal style, its all about knowing which colors from your palette to use to create your signature look!

I’m ecstatic to let you know that you will not have trouble finding your colors. Every time I’m out shopping looking for my Spring colors I find Summer’s everywhere, kind of annoying for me, but great for you! Before you start buying, I recommend cleaning out your closet and removing the items that you’ve been holding onto for too long. Now that you have a clean closet start shopping for basics and maybe create a few outfits! Don’t be surprised if you start receiving compliments, your cool-toned skin will steal the show when paired with cool-toned clothing, but with warm tones you might tend to look gray or green, so be picky!

When shopping I try to not let the colors rule my judgement on if i think an item is cute. You’ll end up with more clothes in your closet that you’ll never wear if your goal is to check a box. I recommend walking around a couple stores and trying to spot your colors, you might need to train your eye a bit, but in no time you’ll be zooming through a store! Sometimes your eyes might play tricks on you so definitely ask yourself if it could be a different color season. It’s crazy how much i look at colors and analyze them now but this will be you too soon enough. If you’re more of an online shopper a few stores i recommend for Summers is Gap, Garage, Pacsun, Billabong, and Amazon
